The leadership of the National Democratic Congress say they are equally disturbed over the continuous travels of the speaker of Parliament, Alban Sumani Bagbin.
The General Secretary of NDC, Asiedu Nketiah speaking on Kessben Maakye told Kwame Appiah Kubi that the party is also not happy about the frequent travels of the speaker but noted that the reason with which the speaker has been embarking on the trips is justifiable.
The speaker since assuming the speaker’s position in January 2021 has embarked on a number of trips with the United Arabs Emirates being the country where he mostly visits for his medicals checkups and treatment.
Asiedu Nketiah stressed that so far as the speaker has been travelled on health grounds, Ghanaians should understand.
He rubbished claims that the speaker has been deliberately embarking on the medical trips just to cause a shortage for the majority in parliament.
