Account for the previous expenditure before we approve the current and stop blaming COVID for everything – Asiedu Nketiah
Asiedu Nketiah says the Government must account for the several donations which were made during and after the Covid -19 pandemic.
The General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress has said that fundamentally, things were wrong before the Covid-19 pandemic.
The straightforward general secretary speaking on Kessben TV with Kwame Appiah Kubi stressed that the Government have been using covid-19 as an excuse for the current economic hardship.
Mr. Nketiah noted that the NPP government should rather come clear on the expenditure of the covid -19 donations which were received.
According to him, the Government has been very silent on the expenditure and giving detailed accounts of how of the covid fund were spent.
He says with any little opportunity given, the NPP claim that the economy is on its knees due to associated effects of the covid meanwhile donations were made which they have failed to even account for.
