Sri Lanka couldn’t print exams papers due to economic effect of Covid, You won’t hear such in Ghana because we are doing well – Kusi Boafo

The Chief Executive officer of public sector reforms, Mr Thomas Kusi Boafo reckons Ghana’s economy is doing far better than most economies in the world following the Covid 19 and its associated effects on various economies.

Speaking with Kwame Appiah Kubi on Kessben FM’s Maakye, Kusi Boafo stressed that there is general hardship in the world due to the effects of the Covid 19 outbreak therefore people must take it easy on the Akufo Addo led Government as they are still in the process of recovering from the covid effects.

He cited that, there are even some countries that are going through hard times due to the covid effect making their economies more crumbling than that of Ghana.

According to him a country like Sri Lanka could not afford to print examination papers for students to sit for their papers due to how hard the covid effect hit their economy.

Per his assertion, the Ghanaian economy is better off than most economies in the world thus encouraging the people to be hopeful.

He hinted that following president Akufo Addo’s crunch cabinet retreat over the weekend, the country’s borders will soon be opened after it was closed in 2020 as part of measures to fight against COVID-19.
