Kotoko is winning but the fans are not coming to the stadium – Kotoko Supporters Chairman cries out (Video)
The supporters’ chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Christopher Damanya is worried over the low turnout at the stadium for Kumasi Asante Kotoko home games at the Baba Yara Sports stadium.
Attendance at the stadium for the league leaders has not been encouraging considering the high flying performance of the Kumasi based football club.
Damanya speaking to Kessben TV after the Kotoko – Dreams FC game at Baba Yara Stadium last Sunday bemoaned over the situation.
The supporters’ leaders stressed the need for the club supporters to come to the stadium during their home games as the presence of the fans gingers the playing body to give off their best.
Kotoko beat Dreams FC by 2-0 taking them to 40 points at the top of the league table after 18 games.
