Man nabbed for duping 18 people in a Gold scam (Video)

A man has been arrested after he took money from 18 people with a promise of mining gold for them.

One of the victims, Opoku Tawiah narrated that it was actually his father who introduced the man to him as a gold miner.

According to him, the man took GHC 2,500 with the assurance that there is gold on their family land therefore he will be mining gold from the land for him.

Opoku Tawiah told Kwasi Ntiamoah on Kessben Breaking News that the man also took monies from other 17 people in Bibiani Wuraso with the same assurance that he was going to get them gold from their land.

The total money he took is reportedly estimated to be in the region of GHC60,000.
