Give me the job to rescue Ashgold – Thomas Duah
Thomas Duah has asked the management of AshGold SC to substantively hand him the coaching job of the Obuasi based football club.
Ashgold after starting very poorly in 2021-22 Ghana premier league got rid of the newly appointed head coach Ernest Quartey who had only joined the club for a few months.
Coach Thomas who was asked to step aside when Quartey was appointed last September is edging the powers that be to give him give the full control in charge as the coach.
The former player of the Obuasi based team last season guided the team to the finals of the MTN FA cup last season when he was put in charge as the acting interim coach when Romain Folz was sacked.
The club currently lies 11th on the Ghana premier league log with 25 points after 20 games. Duah is optimistic he will turn things around if confirmed as the substantive coach of the team.
