Government contact Kwesi Nyantakyi on how to move the Ghana vs Nigeria game to Kumasi (Video)
The government of Ghana has reached out to the former president of the Ghana football association, Kwesi Nyantakyi on how to move the crucial first leg playoff game with Nigeria to the Baba Yara sports stadium, Kessben Sports has gathered.
Following Nigeria’s protest against the pitch of the Cape Coast Stadium which is to host the crucial game, concerns have been raised to change the match venue.
A team of CAF inspectors were in Kumasi on Sunday to inspect the Baba Yara sports stadium for what appears to be a possible change of the match venue.
According to checks by Kessben Sports, the Government of Ghana would want to move the game from Cape Coast to Kumasi, the Baba Yara Stadium thus contacted the former executive committee member of CAF about the process of changing the match venue barely 10 days to the game.
In other reports, the game is also likely to be moved from the Cape Coast stadium to either Benin or Morroco by CAF if the Cape Coast stadium fails to meet the requirement of CAF.
