Bantama: Young man caught with parcels of ‘weed toffee’ beaten real hard (Video)
The Assemblyman for Bantama, Kwabena Boateng has confirmed that a young man has been handed to the police after he was caught in a bid to deliver parcels of weed toffee to Obuasi.
According to the Assemblyman who spoke on Kessben FM Breaking News, the young man was trying to deliver the weed toffee to Obuasi through a commercial vehicle driver at the Bantama bus terminal.
The people at the bus terminal suspected the guy to be a criminal after they detected scissors on him.
After seeing the scissors on him, it prompted them to open the parcel which he had brought to the driver to be sent to Obuasi.
It was later found out after opening the parcel that it was a toffee made with marijuana.
The people around had to pummel him a bit after he was eventually handed to the police.
