Gomoa Assin: Quarry blasting destroy homes and properties (Video)

A number of houses were raced down in Assin Gomoa following a quarry blasting last Friday, 25th February 2022.

According to Kessben FM’s reporter Kwaku Tawia, a number of houses were demolished after the blasting by the Quarry Company known as JB Dankwah Stone Quarry.

The residents of Gomoa expressed their grievances following the blast.

They cited the fact that before the quarry company settled in Gomoa, the Company assured the people of the community of employing most of the youth to work at the quarry company to chop down on the unemployment challenge in the area.

However, the reality has not been so since the JB Dankwah Stone Quarry started operation in Gomoa.
