Statement: Frivolous Accusations Against Ben Arthur On The Matter Of Injunction In Mampong Is Baseless

.

I HAVE NO HAND IN IT: As we work assiduously towards the organization and participation in the upcoming National Labour Conference, my attention was drawn to a social media publication, apparently written by some faceless people accusing me of supporting a group to place an injunction on the upcoming polling station elections.

Such accusations are baseless and diversionary. Instead of pointing to the core issues to draw attention towards a peaceful resolution, the writer decided to play mischief.

On one hand, I have been accused of having abandoned some of my previous supporters to their faith since my new appointment, which obviously demands full concentration.

On another hand some others, wanting to do Mischief, also claim I am supporting another group to place injunction.

I am NOT in contest with anybody in Mampong Where lies in the interest?

*I have *not supported or funded any group to cause any mayhem in Mampong.* Neither am I ready to that.

In previous times whenever there had been conflicts, I had rather helped resolved the matter.

I am pleading with our authorities to quickly step in and address any genuine concerns to bring lasting peace.

I am by this also sounding a note of caution to those interested in false publications that I will not hesitate to take every legal action to protect my hard-worn reputation.

Thank you.

Ben Arthur
