Sekyere Kumawu: NPP party folks set office ablaze over cheats in sale of forms (Video)
The Assemblyman for Oyoko, Fareed Ofori in the Sekyere Kumawu district speaking in an interview with Kessben TV confirmed the grassroots members of the party ransacked the party office over cheating claims about the sale of nomination forms for polling station executives and electoral coordinators.
The grassroots members of the party are furious over how some of the top brass in the party are deliberately causing a scarcity in the sale of the forms to make some people lose out.
Following what they reckon as unfairness, the party folks stormed the Oyoko party office and took everything out from the office and reportedly set the space ablaze.
Due to some similar reports about how the nominations forms have become scarce in other constituencies, the party has extended the date for selling the forms.
The party opened the sale of the nomination forms on Saturday, February 19, 2022 and should have ended Monday, February 21 but it has to be extended due to the multiple cases at various constituencies.
