Hearts of Oak fans running away from the presidential cup game with Asante Kotoko
The National Chapters Committee of Accra Hearts of Oak, Elvis Herman Hesse has said that most of the club’s supporters have raised concerns over the scheduled presidential cup game with Asante Kotoko on 4th March 2022.
The supporters’ chairman speaking with Joe Laka on Kessben TV stressed the supporters were not consulted by the management of the club before they agreed on the ceremonial game with their bitterest rivals.
According to him, there are divided opinions among the supporters with most saying the club should decline playing Asante Kotoko in the presidential cup.
Meanwhile, the supporters of Asante Kotoko are fully backing their management over their decision to honour the game even though they were not consulted.
The vice-chairman of Kumasi Asante Kotoko national circles, Nana Kwame Dankwah speaking on Midfield Action noted that most of their supporters are in full support of the management decision to play Hearts of Oak twice in less than 2 weeks.
