Online ticketing is a big problem – Otumfuo’s Saamanhene urges Gov’t to reconsider buying tickets at gates for GPL games
Otumfuo’s Saamanhene, Nana Kwaku Osei Kwaku the third, has urged the Government to reconsider bringing back buying tickets at the gates.
Nana Osei Kwaku speaking on Kessben TV’s Extra Time Sports show underscored that in a bid for clubs particularly Asante Kotoko to have more supporters at the stadium, the Government should not limit ticket buying to only online purchasing.
According to him, many football fans would want to come to the stadium but unfortunately for some of these fans, they don’t know how to purchase tickets online.
“One thing that I want to add which has brought big problems is the online ticketing. We should have a relook at that.
Someone may want to go and watch the games but does not know how to buy the ticket online. How can such a person go and watch the game? It is a big problem.
I was talking about it with Baffour sometime ago and he said the Government introduced that. So why not talk with the Government to reconsider that?
