High ranking member of the New Patriotic Party, Dr Ayisi Boateng has stated that the Opposition National Democratic Congress must accordingly be blamed for the current economic hardship in Ghana.
Reacting to the entrenched stance taken by the National Democratic Congress to ensure that the proposed E-levy by Government is not approved, the diplomat said that the NDC is responsible for where the country is today with how they badly managed the economy when they were in office.
He noted that the PNDC which birthed the NDC is the longest serving political party in Ghana but did virtually nothing to impact the growth of the economy of the country.
Speaking on Maakye with Kwame Appiah Kubi on Kessben FM/Kessben TV, the former Ghana ambassador to South Africa said for over 25 years, PNDC were in Government but virtually did nothing to improve the country’s economy.
Dr Ayisi Boateng stressed that, the National Democratic Party have always stood against policies which have always come to the aide of the country.
