Police Return GHC 200 bribe from a woman after Kessben FM report, woman speaks (Video)
On Friday, 28th January 2022, Kessben TV carried a story of a woman in Akyem Asuom who had to pay Ghc 200 to the police before her case was attended to.
Barely 24 hours after the report, the police officer who took money from the woman has given back the money to the woman after Kessben TV aired the story on Breaking News.
The brother of the woman who sought refuge in the police on Friday 28th January 2022 spoke on Kessben FM/TV’s Breaking News.
He narrated that the police officer told her sister that before they can attend to her case she must pay a sum of Ghc 250.
After the story went viral, the police called the woman and handed the money taken back to her with the assurance that they will still peruse her case despite given the money back.
