Police demanded GHC 250 from a woman before attending to her case (Video)

A woman in Akyem Asuom in the Eastern Region f Ghana had to pay GHC 200 before her case was attended to.

The brother of the woman, Yaw Ampofo speaking on Kessben Breaking News with Akwasi Ntiamoah said the police told her sister that she should pay GHC 250 of which GHC100 will be used for transportation to nab the suspect.

According to the brother, the husband of the sister pulled a machete on her sister after she decided to leave him.

To the dismay of the young woman, she was told by the police who she sought refuge in that she must pay GHC 250 before they can go and make an arrest.

The woman had to plead with the police to take GHC 200 which was the only money she had.
