Savelugu accident death toll now 13

Three more persons have died at the Tamale Teaching Hospital following an accident on the Savelugu highway on Sunday January 23 bringing the death toll to 13.

The three were among some 33 victims involved in an accident on the savelugu highway in the way from a funeral.

Six of the victims died on the spot while four died at the Tamale Teaching Hospital the next day where they were receiving treatment bring the death toll to 10.

But the Northern Region police crime officer Superintendent Baba Ananga said the death toll as of Tuesday January 25 has risen to 13.
