Football is now hard work over talent – Rabiu Mohammed react after Comoros beat Ghana (Video)
Former Black Stars Midfielder, Rabiu Mohammed has reiterated that working hard pays off better than having talented footballers on the field.
Speaking on Midfield Action with Sir Joe after the Black Stars of Ghana were comprehensively beaten and eliminated by Comoros in the 2021 AFCON, Rabiu stressed that Ghana has failed to learn and work hard over the years.
According to him, the days where names were playing football are over thus the need to work hard to achieve greatness.
He noted that you cannot only rely on talent to do the work on the pitch without putting in the hard work for the results.
The former Anzhi Makhachkala player added there are currently no minnows in the game of football, especially the African game.
