‘Before the appointment of Milo, We advised the government that he was not the right man for the Job’ – Joe Laka reveals

One of Ghana’s leading sports broadcasters, Sir Joe Laka has disclosed that he together with some other senior sports journalists in the country advised against the appointment of Coach Milovan Rajevac as the head coach of the Black Stars.

According to the host of Kessben 93.3 FM/TV’s flagship sports program, the leadership of the Government met some senior sports journalists in Kumasi ahead of the appointment of the Serbian to seek their advice, opinions, and suggestions.

Sir Joe speaking on Midfield Action said that they advised the representatives of the Government against the appointment of Coach Milovan as the next Black Stars coach after CK Ackonnor was axed.

The meeting was held at the Golden Bean Hotel in Kumasi.

The larger-than-life sports broadcaster who recently described the head coach of the Black Stars as a disaster said they told the Government point-blank that Milovan Rajevac was the wrong coach for the senior national team of Ghana.
