Even if we qualify, we can’t go beyond the quarter-finals – Frimpong Manso (Video)
Former Black Stars defender, coach Frimpong Manso has stated that even if the Black Stars of Ghana qualify from the group stage of the ongoing AFCON 2021, the team cannot go beyond the quarter-finals of the tournament.
The fate of the Black Stars will be decided on today 18th January – Tuesday night when the Black Stars play Comoros in the final group stage game.
The Black Stars goes into the game with only one point in a group with Morocco, Gabon, and Comoros.
The former Asante Kotoko footballer speaking on Midfield Action with Joe Laka said the Black Stars team beating Comoros is very possible which will book the team into the round of 16 however the team can not go beyond the quarter-finals of the tournament with their shambolic performance.
The Black Stars needs an emphatic win against Comoros to make it out of the group stage.
