Fuel Hikes: I cannot fill my tank anymore – NPP MP Dr. Adomako Bemoans (Video)

Member of parliament for Anyaa Sowutuom, Hon. Adomako Kissi says members of parliament are equally affected by the hikes of petroleum products.

The NPP MP said he used to fill his car which cost him around GHC 600.00 but due to the hikes, the GHC600.00 cannot longer fill the tank.

Speaking on Kessben FM’s Maakye with Kwame Appiah Kubi, he revealed that he has adjusted the way he used to buy fuel now due to the hikes.

He stressed that the increment has now forced him to adopt the plan of Taxi and Uber Drivers who buy in bits.

Dr. Adomako emphasized that people should not politicize the issue of petroleum prices and encouraged Ghanaians to optimistic as Government is very much concerned about the hardship to avert the situation.

Finance minister Ofori Atta addressing the press on Thursday 24th March 2022 over the current economic hardship announced a 50% cut on fuel allowance for all political appointees.
