Forestry Commission allegedly burn houses in an entire community leaving hundreds displaced (Video)

Hon. Peter Abagi, the Assemblyman for Ananekrom speaking on Kessben 92.9 FM/TV Breaking News said the men from the Forestry commission invaded the town on Wednesday afternoon when most of the residents had gone to the farm.

According to the Assemblyman, most residents only returned home to find out that their place of abode have been set on fire.

Hon. Peter Abagi noted all the people who had their houses on the land which is allegedly claimed to be owned by the forestry commission genuinely acquired the land from the Chief.

After the fire, about 100 people displaced had to spend their night at churches and mosques.

According to sources, the forestry commission intends to plant trees on the land the settlers were occupying.
