Atwima Mponua: Community war looms as two communities clash after Nyinawusu killing (Video)
Two communities in the Atwima Mponua District in the Ashanti region are on each other’s throats after four people were wrongly accused and murdered last December in Nyinaswusu.
After the gruesome murder of the 4, the tension between the people of Akoabokrom where the murdered is believed to hail from, and a nearby community, which Kotukuom keeps heightening.
Following the murder of the four, two armed men attacked a man off the Kotokuom road and it was widely reported that the armed men are from Nyinawusu.
One of the armed men identified as Philip who has been arrested by the police, however, confessed he’s not from Akoabokrom but Kyekyewere.
Some youth in Akoabokrom have been furious over the development and ready to attack the people of Kotokuom.
The irate youth of Akoabokrom reckons there has been no justice after four of their own were killed.
