If the name on your Ghana card does not match with name with what the telcos have, this is what you do – NCA answers all questions here (Video)

The Deputy Director of Consumer and Corporate Affairs Division at National Communications Authority (Ghana), Kwame Gyan sat with Akuoko Kwarteng on AmansanNtie – Kessben TV, and all the relevant answers were given concerning the ongoing sim card registration.

Kwame Gyan, reacting to a question by a caller concerning slight differences between the name on a person Ghana card and the name the telcos already have, the deputy Director explained in such instance, you will avail yourself for the telcos to ask some confidential details from the registrants and if the details match, the person can go ahead with the registration by changing what’s on the system.

He reemphasized that one can use the Ghana card to register for at most ten sim cards personally.

He also noted that the Ghana card is only required to register personal sim cards but for business and other company sim cards, business certificates and other company documents are required for that.
