Omicron virus kills 3 year old in Nkoranza, Health officer confirms (Video)

The Nkoranza Municipal Health Directorate has confirmed one person has died as a result of being infected by the Covid-19 Omicron Virus.

The Health control officer in the Bono East Region, Kipo Peter speaking on Kessben Breaking News said the deceased was only 3 years old.

According to him, when the patient was brought to the Nkoranza Government Hospital, signs had indicated that the patient had been infected with the Omicron virus.

After samples of tests were taken and sent to the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR), it came out that the patient died through the Omicron infection.
