Ashgold SC coach Thomas Duah blames disunity in Obuasi for Ashgold bad run

Coach of Ashanti Gold sporting club, Thomas Duah, has blamed the club’s retrogression performance on disunity amongst the supporters of the club.

The former player of the miners, speaking in an interview with Kwame Mikke on Extra Time pointed out that lack of unity is a major factor for the club’s bad run in the 2021-22 Ghana premier league.

According to him, some supporters of the club, for reasons best known to them are against the management of the club and the team as a whole.

With 11 games played so far in the ongoing Ghana premier league, the Obuasi-based football club has won only 3 games with 5 defeats.

The Gaffer reckons that if all stakeholders of the club come together and fight for a common goal, the club will move from the 14th position they currently occupy.

League leaders of the Ghana premier league, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will host Ashgold in a regional derby at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, 9th January 2022.
