Don’t waste money keeping dead relatives in fridge while family members are suffering – Christians told
The head Pastor of Calvery Deliverance Chapel, Enoch Teye has advised Christians to desist from keeping dead relatives in the fridge for a longer period.
The man of God speaking on Breaking News Show on Kessben TV with Nyakoh Abronomah said it is wrong to keep dead bodies of relatives in the fridge at a cost when some family members are suffering.
Pastor Enoch Teye said that it is quite unfortunate to see family members struggle with basic needs while the dead are cherished.
He condemned this tradition which has become a norm among some Christians living in Ghana where dead bodies are kept in the fridge till the dawn of the day of the burial.
Pastor Enoch Teye reckons it is a waste of money to spend that much on dead bodies but the organizers of funerals in Ghana hold the assertion that when spent on the dead, the monies will be recouped during the funeral through donations.
