GFA threatened some people not to attend our congress – Osei Kwaku Palmer
The president of Tema Youth football club, Osei Kwaku Palmer has disclosed that some members of the football association were threatened by the leadership of the Ghana Football Association not to attend a recently held congress organized by football clubs in Ghana.
Some members of the Football Association predominantly the division one clubs held the congress in Kumasi on Tuesday 21st December 2021.
At the congress which recorded no executive member of the football association in attendance, the division clubs shot against the FA’s move to restructure the division league to an 18-club league.
Palmer speaking after the congress told Kessben TV that before the congress, the leadership of the Ghana Football Association threatened some clubs not to attend the congress.
He revealed that some clubs were warned by the FA’s leadership not to attend or else will be banned.
The outspoken club administrator said he will rather want to be banned by doing the right thing.
