A survivor from the Nyinawusu lynching that resulted in the killing of four people has opened up on how he was able to escape the mob attack.
The survivor who has been identified as Daniel Kofi Agyei told Kesbben FM’s reporter, Mallam Yaya that he had to act like he was part of the mob who were beating his colleagues.
According to him when the irate youth bagged into them and started shouting and attacking, he also acted in a similar fashion shouting along with the mob, and smartly made his way out of the chaotic scene.
The mob beat up the rest of the four to death. One of them was beheaded by the irate youth.
The four were wrongly accused to be thieves. One of the four who died, Fatawu Mohammed had apparently been awarded as a gentleman of the year in the district.
Our sources within the police say, one person has been arrested in connection with the lynching.
