The FA takes us for fools, decides how much they pay themselves & do scratch my back, I scratch yours – George Afriyie
President of Susubiribi Football Club, George Afriyie is hitting hard on the Ghana football association describing the state of football in the country as “scratch my back, I scratch yours”.
The former vice president of the Ghana football association says the top brass of the football association has taken the members as fools.
George Afriyie speaking in an extensive interview with Joe Laka on Kessben TV expressed dissatisfaction with how the few at the top of the football association in Ghana continue to push for their vested interest instead of the general good of the association.
Reacting to the FA’s plan of restructuring the division one league competition, George disagreed with the move to make the division one league an 18 club competition across.
According to him, it is a gross disrespect to the other members of the football association especially the division one clubs without being broadly consulted to consent.
