Mechanics at Kumasi Asafo demonstrate over unlawful eviction (Video)

Mechanics at Kumasi Asafo on Thursday 16th Dec. 2021 hit the streets to protest against a directive by the chief of Dadiesoaba to evict them from where they work.

According to the mechanics, they lawfully settled on the land 20 years ago and are unwilling to vacate by the order of the new chief.

Meanwhile, the chief has instructed them to pack all their belongings before sunset on Thursday 16th Dec.

According to them, the chief has threatened to demolish everything on the land by Friday if they do not pack out.

Executive member of the Mechanics, Appiah Marfo speaking with Kessben TV indicated they will not leave where they have been working for the last 20 years.
