The Ghana football association president, together with the executive committee members of the Football Association on Wednesday 16th, 2021 paid a courtesy call on Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the Manhyia Palace.
The life patron of Kumasi Asante Kotoko had some important concerns raised to the attention of the brass of the football association.
He touched on a number of issues affecting football development in the country. His royal Majesty is worried over the situation of player exodus in the country.
He told the GFA president to turn attention to the high rate with which local players leave the shores of the country which in the end affect the local game.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu II also touched on the issue of player call-ups to national teams and the need to equip referees to improve match officiating.
