People caught engaging in Galamsey should be handed death sentence – Parliament told

The founder of ”Save the world for the future leaders”, Kwadwo Atta has opinionated that people caught in illegal mining should face a death sentence.

According to the leader of the group, his outfit has petitioned the Parliament of Ghana to hand death sentences to people who engage in illegal mining.

Speaking on Kessben FM Breaking News, Kwadwo Atta expressed worry over the consequences borne out of engaging in illegal mining.

He said those engaged in the activities of illegal mining like Galamsey are indirectly killing people by destroying water bodies.

Kwadwo Attah reckons by giving a death sentence to people who engage in the act, will scare people away from venturing into illegal mining.
