Stop negative comments about Metro Mass Transit & praise us – Deputy Director

Following the strike action by commercial drivers in Ghana on Monday 6th December 2021, many people across the nation were left stranded at various lorry stations. Parents were seen carrying their kids to school while some workers also had no other choice than to trek to work.

This gap which was created due to the absence of commercial transportation led to many asking about the existence of the government-owned transport company, Metro Mass Transit.

On social media, the government-owned transport company was roasted by netizens. Some questioned their essence as to their usefulness.

The deputy managing director speaking in an interview with Kessben TV urged Ghanaians to do away with negativity and praise their efforts through appreciation.

Mr. Ricahard Osei Bamfo reiterated that reports going rounds indicating casual workers of the company have not been paid for over months are false.
