Had we known this about Akufo Addo, we wouldn’t have voted for him – striking drivers

Commercial drivers across Ghana on Monday 6th December 2021 embarked on a nationwide strike over high fuel prices.

Many of the drivers especially those in the nation’s capital Accra did not work but went to their respective stations.

People who use commercial vehicles in their daily routines were left stranded as many went back home while a section also had to trek to their various workplaces.

In the Ashanti Region, the situation was not too different from what was happening in Accra.

Most drivers at the Sofoline terminal stations in Kumasi had parked their vehicles without working.

Some drivers at Adum Pampaso who spoke with Kessben TV’s Ato Kwamina expressed disappointment in the Akufo Addo-led government.

According to these drivers, they never expected things to be so hard under the stewardship of President Akufo-Addo factoring in his promises before he was voted for.
