2022 Budget: Government must consider the national interest of the people – Hon Davis Opoku

The 2022 Budget Statement and Economic Policy of government on Friday was rejected by Parliament however Ghanaians have jubilated over the rejected budget.

MP for Mpraeso Hon. Davis Opoku Ansah has said that Ghanaians should be concerned about the rejection of the budget by the finance minister, Hon Ken Ofori Atta.

According to him, the budget will help in the development of the country and also be beneficial to the youth and civil servants.

Hon. Davis Opoku Ansah said that the most important thing a government must do is to look out for the national interest first.

He advised that Government should wake up before the country comes to a halt.
