GFA EXCO Member confirms clubs are afraid to report referees due to victimization

Executive committee member of Ghana football Association, Kingsley Osei Bonsu says victimization has been a major factor why some football clubs in Ghana are afraid to report under-performing referees.

Kingsley Osei Bonus speaking in a telephone interview with Joe Laka on Kessben FM/TV buttressed the claims of Frank Owusu Ansah who asserted that most Ghanaian football clubs are afraid to report referees to the appropriate authorities due to the fear of being victimized.

The EXCO member however called for the need for all football games to be reviewed by a special panel after games.

Kingsley Osei Bonsu noted that he’s a living witness to happenings where premier league clubs have had to back off from reporting under-performing referees due to the fear of victimization by the referees.
