Ex playing mate of Hudson Odoi’s father, Papa Arko hints Chelsea star likely to play for Ghana

Former Black Stars player Papa Arko has indicated that Chelsea forward, Hudson Odoi is likely to play for the Ghana senior National Football team, the Black Stars.

The ex Asante Kotoko footballer who played with Bismark Odoi, the father of Hudson Odoi says if the Three Lions do not invite the Chelsea forward in their next call ups, the energic striker will be set to opt to play for the Ghana national football team.

Speaking with Kessben TV, Papa Arko hinted that chances are high for Hudson to opt for Ghana and play for the Black Stars in the upcoming AFCON in January 2022.

The Ghana Football Association together with the Ghana Government have already initiated steps to get the Chelsea forward to play the Blackstars.

It will be recalled in June 2021, Callum Hudson-Odoi, the Ghanaian-born Chelsea star paid a courtesy call on Ghana’s President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Monday at the Jubilee House in Accra.
