Kumasi Businessman support National Cathedral project with GHS 50,000
Nana Baffuor Yaw Agyei, a Kumasi based businessman and a Christian has donated an amount of GHC50, 000 to the Board of Trustees of the National Cathedral Project.
At a short ceremony at his office at the Abinkyi Market in Kumasi, Nana Baffuor presented a cheque to the team from the National Secretariat.
He noted that the gesture was to fulfill a desire he has to give to support the work of God.
The businessman said no one can attain success in life without the help of God, noting that it is only prudent that when one is resourceful he or she donates to support the work of God.
“All of us have life because God showed us mercy and kindness and it is prudent that we give to support his Kingdom and in this case the Cathedral project”, Nana Baffuor noted.
The businessman said though the vision to build a Cathedral for God is a project initiated by the President, all others he noted should donate to support.
He noted that as a Christian he felt the need to donate since giving to support the work of God is obligatory.
Nana Baffuor said he has been successful in businessman just by the grace of God.
He revealed that he had to overcome a lot of struggles in life but stated that God showed him grace to become successful in the drink distribution business.
“I have become successful in business because of the grace of God and I take opportunity to give to support his Kingdom anytime I get same”, the businessman stated.
Receiving the cheque on behalf of the Board of Trustees for the National Cathedral project, Reverend Ebenezer Saka Ameyaw, Head of Church Relations and Executive Assistant to the Cathedral Project thanked the businessman for the gesture.
He noted that the President and the Board of Trustees were grateful for the support.
Such assistance from people who love God and want his Kingdom to succeed is what the Board is looking forward to receive, Rev Ameyaw stated.
On his part, Rev Dr Kwabena Darko, a member of the Ashanti Regional Board of the Cathedral Project said he was happy that people were showing love for the Godly project and appealed to all Christian businessmen and women to show similar support.
