Residents of Feyiase – Bosomtwe bemoans over bad roads
Residents of Feyiase in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti Region have lamented that the government has neglected the development of the area.
They complained about their roads being neglected for the past years.
The assembly member for Feyiase Hon Samuel Kwae said that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has declared 2021 as the “second year of roads” of which Feyiase was a part of the plan.
According to him, the government promised them a dual carriageway but the contractor made it a single track road instead of a double road.
He explained that the houses to be demolished will be compensated.
These, he says were said by the government and ministry of highways but they have not been attended to.
Hon Samuel Kwae has stated that their major challenge now is the huge traffic at Feyiase due to the single track road and he is therefore calling on the government to help address is the road network in the area.
