Seven foreigners have been arrested in Atwima Kwanwoma in the Ashanti region after allegedly engaging in multiple acts of fraud.
Their country of origin is yet to be determined but sources indicate the seven are believed to be Nigerians.
These seven were found to be living under one roof in a suburb called Nkatia.
Residents of the area suspected them thus reported to the Assemblyman of the area.
The Assemblyman of the area quickly alerted the Ghana immigration unit who on Thursday laid ambush at the hideout of the suspected fraudsters.
The police confiscated multiple digital devices from their hideout. Among the seven are two women and five men.
