Flood hit Upper Denkyira West, everything put on hold with no movement (Video)

The people of Upper Denkyira West are calling on the government and the various authorities to come to their aid after they were hit with a massive flood.

Following Saturday’s heavy rain, the main road of the township has been flooded having a serious effect on human movement.

Economical and other social activities have all been put on hold following the flood which has made it practically impossible to move around.

Markets women who had to go to the neighbouring communities to get foodstuffs are left stranded with their inability to cross to the next town.

It is quite precarious to move around in the midst of the flood but few motorbikes have been operating regardless of the threat of being drowned away.
