JDM Tour: JDM is becoming a liability in the country- Nii Ordarlai Parker

Greater Accra Secretary, NPP, Nii Ordarlai Parker has said that former President John Dramani Mahama’s main mission for his thank-you tour is to get Ghanaians to have sympathy for him and vote for him in the 2024 election.

According to him, John Mahama is confused because he lost the elections hence the reason why he is embarking on a thank you.

He stated that John Dramani Mahama is becoming a liability in the country because according to him, the utterances made by him are bringing division amongst the people in the country.

He explained that Mahama is a politician and understands the election process therefore does not see the reason why he is accusing the NPP of frauding the election which at a point he accepted defeat.

He also said that Mahama had all opportunities to work on the development of the country but he failed to do so. According to Parker, despite all the challenges the NPP has faced due to the outbreak of the covid-19 pandemic they have been able to stabilize the economy.

He, therefore, advised the former president to focus more on winning the primaries in the NDC and also bring unity amongst Ghanaians.

Meanwhile in a panel discussion with Omanahene Yaw Adu Boakye on ‘Maakye’, the Deputy Communications Officer for NDC, Kwaku Boahen stated that only ungrateful people don’t show gratitude and because John Mahama is a grateful man hence the reason why he is embarking on the thank-you tour to show his appreciation to Ghanaians who voted for him despite losing the election.

According to him, John Dramani Mahama won the 2020 presidential election, but the court refused to accept the fact.

He stressed that John Mahama is a man of vision and has highly helped in the development of the country and has created infrastructures to create a lot of job opportunities in the country.

He told Omanhene that, John Mahama will win the 2024 presidential elections because Ghanaians can attest to the positive contributions John Mahama has made to help in the development of the country.
