I Welcome Guinea’s Coup – Convener Oliver Vormawor

Oliver Vormawor, Convener fix the country when asked on the Kessben FM Maakye show on his comment posted on his social media handle related to the Guinea Coup he said ““The statement I made earlier in regards to the coup in Guinea has nothing to do with Ghana”.

In his comment he wrote “I welcome the needs of a military coup in Guinea and still waiting on confirmation of its success. Hopefully a new transition is put in place quickly. Guinea shall “wake” again if only the people of Guinea had fix themselves all this won’t be happening….Ghanaians let’s please fix ourselves we don’t want anyone to have any funny ideas.

According to him, Ghana is a Democratic country and all that Ghanaians are asking is to revise the constitution to help the less privileged in the country hence calling for fix the country to prevent coups.

Converner for fixing the country Owusu Bempah NPP condemned the comments made by Oliver Vormawor.’

“I am not surprised on how President Alpha Condé was captured by the country’s armed forces in a coup d’état because his time in governance was due, but he refused to step down and used other means to maintain his power in the year 2020 elections in the country, as a result of this the citizens were displeased with him.

My only problem is the means the military men used, this means is outmoded” This statement was made by the Governance Expert, Prof. Agyemang Duah. I am not happy with the comment passed by the convenor for ‘FIX THE COUNTARY’ Oliver Vormawor’s, he said to Omanhene this morning on Maakye.

According to him, most African leaders misuse their power and therefore advices them to to let their lifestyle and commitment demonstrates to its citizens that irrespective of the challenges they face as a country they are trying their best to solve the problems and advices African leaders to sit and abide by the laws of the country.

Horace Ankrah also added that to practice democracy, Political Parties should consider the amendment of the constituency, since we are govern by the laws of the country.
