Amansie South residents hit the street to demonstrate over poor road (Video)
The residents of Amansie South on Tuesday embarked on a demonstration to register their displeasure over the bad state of their roads.
According to the demonstrators, prior to the 2020 General elections, the ruling New Patriotic Party led by Akufo- Addo promised to fix their roads after the elections when he’s maintained.
It’s been over 10 months after the general elections and there has been no sign to develop the road of Amansie South which has close to 80 communities.
The people bemoaned that due to the bad road network their businesses have been adversely affected.
According to the authorities, the construction of the road is currently under contract but unfortunately, work has been stalled thus look forward to being handed to a new contractor.
