Assemblyman narrates how rejected Juaben MCE nominee bribed them (Video)

One of the Assembly members in Juaben municipal known as Samuel Adjei has opened up on how the MCE nominee, Mr. Alex Sarfo Kantanka gave them monies in a bid to confirm him.

According to the Assemblymember, the rejected nominee gave him Ghc1000, money which he never requested for.

Speaking on Maakye with Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye, the Assemblyman said before the elections on Monday morning he was actually in Kumasi and had a call from the nominated MCE telling him he had some gift for him.

The Assemblyman noted because he was not in Juaben during the weekend, the MCE gave the money to one of his colleagues to be given to him when he returns.

He stressed that the GHC1000 he took from the disappointed MCE was not a bribe but a gift. It is believed the rejected MCE gave out a gift of GHC1000 to almost all the 26 Assemblymen.
