Wanted Banka Chief who embezzled funds meant for community development nabbed (Video)
The Banka chief who was in a hideout after being declared wanted by his own community people has been found.
According to a resident of the community who spoke with Ali Baba Dankambari on Kessben FM/TV, the chief who is said to have allegedly embezzled funds of the community was hiding in Kyebi.
The people of the Banka community last week held a press conference declaring their under-fire chief wanted after he invoked curses on someone resulting in death.
Quite apart from engaging in what has been banned by the Kyebi Traditional council for anyone not to invoke a curse, the chief is also reported to have embezzled a huge amount of money meant for the development of the community.
He has since been at large following the fury of the people of Banka. Investigations revealed he was hiding in Kyebi and had been captured. He is currently at the Kyebi palace being interrogated.
