Kessben Outreach Foundation goes to the aid of a Lady who was raped in a Taxi & gave birth to twins (Video)
Kessben Outreach Foundation has reached out to a young Lady was who raped in a Taxi which resulted in a pregnancy.
The chief operations officer of the foundation, Sammy Adu Boakye together with Michael Oheneba Nyame on Thursday presented baby items to the nursing mother at her residence in Kasoa.
The foundation further handed the mother of the twins Ghc1000 for her personal upkeep.
Speaking on Maakye with Omanhene Yaw Adu Boakye, the lady who was working as a caterer narrated how she got pregnant after she was returning from work.
According to her, as part of her duties as a caterer, she went to a program to prepare food around Tema in the Greater Accra region.
While she was returning home with a Taxi that very night she was very tired but all she could recall the following day was that she was in the hospital.
Medical examinations proved she was raped by the Taxi driver and dumped.
After a few weeks, she went for medical checks and it was confirmed she had conceived.
She initially wanted to abort the twins but after speaking to some close counsellors she aborted the abortion idea.
The Kessben Outreach Foundation after reaching out to her has also assured her of the capital she needs to get her catering business back.
