Fire guts house with 89-year-old woman burnt to death (Video)

Fire gutted a house at Asempanaye in Assin North causing the death of an 89-year-old woman

According to an eyewitness report, the 89-year-woman was the only person in the house when the fire started on the night of Thursday.

Family members after learning that the 89-year-old woman was in the flames attempted to go inside and rescue the granny but the flames were just too high to go nearer.

After the Ambulance service got to the scene, the old woman had already died living her unrecognized.
