Keche set to organize ‘Halloween with Keche’ concert

Ghanaian musical hiplife duo, Keche, is set to a musical concert on October 30 to connect with fans in power-packed performances for the Halloween season.

In an interview on Showbiz 360, Keche Joshua said the phenomenal event will allow fans to shake off boredom after staying long indoors due to COVID-19 in the country.

According to Keche, the Halloween themed event will be held at Eleven15 at Ajiringano with performances from other artists.

“It’s going to be fun. It is something that I have been waiting for because I realized that people have been home, and they have not really partied.

“Come party with Keche and other celebrities as we party the Halloween style,” he added.

Joshua Kojo Ampah and Andrew Kofi Cudjoe formed the group in 2004. And rose to fame with their debut album Pressure in 2008.
They have had multiple nominations under their belt, and their song ‘Sokode’ topped several music charts across the African continent.

In 2008, their first single, ‘Omogemi’, was followed by ‘Ring my bell’, featuring Sarkodie. In 2011, the duo was also recognized as a Global Ambassador for Peace by former Liberia’s President, her Excellency Ellen Johnson Sirleaf.

Keche also performed at the UN Peace concert in Monrovia, Liberia, in 2014, which gave the group recognition across Africa. Following 2019, they had a record deal with Gem Rhythms, a subsidiary of Gem Multimedia.

They are known for the songs Sokode, Aluguntugui, Diabetes, Pressure, amongst others.

Halloween is a holiday celebrated each year on October 31. This year, it will occur on Sunday, October 31.
The tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts.

Keche urged fans to turn up in their numbers to make the show the event of the year.
